We decided to try the Red Onion in Palos Verdes, California. The drive up to Palos Verdes was nice. It allowed us to get out of the city. The drive wasn’t far for Tony and I, but it felt like we were in a different world and we got to enjoy a short couples retreat for just the two of us.
The food was good and we didn’t have to wait very long for the food to make it to our table. We were immediately greeted and served water along with chips and salsa. The chips were fresh and the salsa was great! For dinner I couldn’t decide between ordering a Crab Enchilada, Chile Relleno or a Chicken Taco. Even though I knew I couldn’t eat all three, I decided to try them all! The Crab Enchilada was my favorite, the Chile Relleno was o.k. (I wouldn’t order it again because it was too bland for my taste) and the Chicken Taco was good. I liked the way the chicken was seasoned. Tony ordered a Chicken Burrito. It was huge! He thought the chicken was flavorful and succulent. The plates also included Spanish Rice and Refried Beans.
We recommend this spot for an impromptu relationship retreat for you and that special someone.
